Terms & Conditions
Last updated February 2026
These terms govern your use of cornerchair.ca and the booking of appointments at Corner Chair, located at 1345 Queen Street East, Toronto, ON M4L 1C6. By booking an appointment or using this site, you agree to the terms below.
Bookings
Appointments can be reserved with your contact details. Some services or peak time slots may require a deposit or full online payment, which will be clearly disclosed before you confirm a booking.
Cancellations and no-shows
We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment so we can offer the slot to another client. Repeated no-shows or late cancellations may result in a request for a deposit on future bookings or a temporary restriction on online booking.
Pricing
Service prices are listed on our site and are subject to change without notice. The price confirmed at the time of booking or check-in is the price you’ll be charged for that visit.
Barber assignment
You may request a specific barber during booking, or choose “Any Barber” to be matched with the next available chair for your preferred time. We’ll do our best to honour barber requests but availability is not guaranteed.
Conduct
We ask all clients to treat our staff and other guests with respect. We reserve the right to refuse service or end an appointment early in the case of abusive, unsafe, or disruptive behaviour.
Liability
Corner Chair provides grooming services with care and professionalism, but we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from a service, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law. Please tell your barber about any allergies, sensitivities, or skin conditions before your service begins.
Marketing communications
If you join our VIP waitlist or newsletter, you consent to receive opening-updates and promotional messages by email and/or SMS. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by replying “STOP” to any text message.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our booking platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable within it.
